What's promised, and what isn't.
Mostly this covers the three free concepts: what you get, who owns it, and where my responsibility ends.
Last updated 10 September 2026.
- Three concepts, free, no obligation. Yours to keep either way.
- 24 hours is my target, not a guarantee.
- You need to actually own the photos and logos you send me.
- I design ads. I can't promise they'll perform — nobody honestly can.
- I may show the creative as a portfolio sample. Say no and I won't.
1. Who you're dealing with
This site and service are operated by Ad-Crafters ("Ad-Crafters", "I", "me"), at 1547 W 206th St #2, Torrance, CA 90501, contactable at ian@ad-crafters.com or 818 369 3067.
By using this site or requesting concepts, you agree to these terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of a company, you're confirming you're allowed to do that.
2. The free concepts offer
What you get
Three ad concepts built for your business, delivered in feed, square and story sizes, with ad copy written for each, as a PDF presentation plus the image files.
What it costs
Nothing. There's no card required, no trial that converts into a subscription, and no obligation to buy anything afterwards. The concepts are yours to keep either way, exactly as the site says.
How long it takes
I aim to deliver in about 24 hours. That's a target based on how the work usually goes, not a contractual guarantee. Volume, complexity, or a thin source website can push it out. If I'm going to be materially late, I'll tell you.
Limits
The free offer is one set of three concepts per business, and it's aimed at genuine home service businesses considering the paid service. I may decline or withdraw it — for instance for repeat requests under different names, for agencies harvesting free creative, or where I simply don't have capacity. I'm not obliged to explain a decision, though I usually will.
The free concepts are a first pass built from public information. Revisions aren't included at this stage; revision rounds are part of paid work.
3. What you're promising me
When you send me material — photos, logos, brand colors, offers, testimonials, price lists — you're confirming that:
- you own it or have permission to use it, including from any photographer;
- anyone identifiable in a photo has agreed to appear in advertising — that covers your crew and, importantly, customers and their homes;
- claims you ask me to put in an ad are true and substantiated — licences, certifications, "24/7", "same day", warranty terms, guarantees, review counts, "#1 in town";
- you're allowed to make the offer you're asking me to advertise.
I take what you tell me at face value. I don't independently verify your licence numbers or your claims, and I'm not in a position to. If a claim in an ad turns out to be wrong, that sits with you.
4. Who owns what
Your material stays yours
Your logo, your photos, your brand, your copy — all still yours. Sending them to me gives me permission to use them to build your creative, and nothing else.
The concepts
Once delivered, you may use the concepts in your own advertising — on Meta, Google, print, your website, wherever — without paying me anything and without a time limit. That's what "yours to keep" means.
What that doesn't include: reselling the creative to other businesses, passing it off as your own agency's work, or handing the source files to another designer as a template to spin variations from.
The same applies to paid work: I keep copyright in the creative and you get an unlimited licence to use it — in any advertising for your own business, in any channel, for as long as you like, with nothing further to pay. If you need full copyright transferred instead, say so before we start and I will put it in the quote.
My underlying craft
The techniques, layout systems, and design approaches I use across all clients remain mine, and I'll keep using them. You own your ads; you don't own my method.
Fonts and stock
Concepts may use licensed typefaces or stock imagery. Those come with their own licences from their own owners, which can restrict things like resale or merchandise use. If a concept depends on one, I'll tell you what it is so you can license it properly for extended use.
5. Showing the work
I may show finished creative as a portfolio sample on this site, in a pitch, or on social. If you'd rather I didn't, tell me and I won't — before or after delivery, no reason needed, and it holds permanently. I won't publish your pricing, customer data, or ad performance figures in any case.
6. What I can't promise
This is the part worth reading twice.
I design ad creative. I do not guarantee results. Not leads, not calls, not booked jobs, not click-through rate, not cost per lead, not return on ad spend, not a single conversion. Anyone in this industry who guarantees you those numbers is guessing or lying.
Ad performance depends on your budget, your targeting, your offer, your pricing, your seasonality, your competitors, your follow-up speed, your close rate, and the platform's algorithm on the day. Most of that is outside my control and some of it is outside yours.
I also don't guarantee that any platform will approve or keep running a given ad. Meta, Google and the rest apply their own policies and change them without notice.
7. Running the ads is your side
Unless we've separately agreed otherwise in writing, I hand over creative — I don't manage your ad accounts, set your budgets, or run your campaigns. You're responsible for your ad accounts, your spend, and for complying with each platform's advertising policies and with the advertising, licensing and consumer protection laws that apply to your trade and your state.
8. Paid work
Anything beyond the free concepts is covered by a separate written quote or agreement — scope, price, revision rounds, timeline and payment terms. Where that agreement conflicts with this page, that agreement wins. Nothing is owed until you have agreed a quote in writing.
9. Fair use of the site
Don't scrape it, don't try to break it, don't submit the form with someone else's details, and don't use it to send anything unlawful. Copy on this site, the sample creative, and the layouts are mine and shouldn't be republished as your own.
10. Disclaimer
The site and the free concepts are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. I don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data, wasted ad spend, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the site, the concepts, or any advertising you run.
Where liability can't be excluded, my total liability is capped at the amount you actually paid me in the three months before the claim — which, for the free concepts, is zero.
Some jurisdictions don't allow parts of these exclusions, so parts may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
If a claim is brought against me because material you supplied wasn't yours to use, because a claim you asked me to advertise was untrue, or because of how you ran your ads, you'll cover the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.
13. Ending it
Either of us can walk away at any time. I may decline or stop work — including partway through free concepts — if the material you send isn't yours, if you ask for claims I think are false or unlawful, if the request is abusive, or if I simply don't have capacity. Sections 3, 4, 6, 11 and 12 survive.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of Los Angeles County, California have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. General
If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing something once doesn't waive it. These terms, plus any signed quote, are the whole agreement between us.
16. Changes
I may update these terms; the date at the top will change when I do. Work already agreed runs under the terms in force when we agreed it.
17. Contact
